Traveling is a spellbinding experience. It fuels us with profound memories, enlightens us aboutpeople and culture, expands our worldwide views, and most of all, is one of the best ways to learn about ourselves.
However rewarding the experience, we still have to go through the dreadful journey of getting there – especially when it involves far off destinations. But, it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. Here’s a simple guide to enjoyinglong-haul flights until the moment you unclip your seatbelt.

Invest in A Noise Cancelling Headphone
Getting a good night’s rest on the plane is tough, but trying to fall asleep on a noisy plane, that’s next to impossible. One easy way to combat this is by investing in a pair of noise-canceling headphones. Not only do you get a far superior audio on the in-flight entertainment system, the over-ear version also shuts out most of the ambient noise (yes, including crying and whining), giving you apeaceful rest till you land.

Protect Your Luggage
If you’re in acrowded airport, beware of pickpockets, luggage pilferage, and snatch-and-run thieves. Carry an anti-theft bag such as thePacsafe Vibe 25 Anti-Theft 25L Backpack, which is almost impossible to unzip without you noticing, thanks to the PopNLock Security Clip and Roobar™ sport locking system. The security clip allows you to attach your bag to any fixture, keeping them where you want them to be while the Robar™ sport locking system makes it impossible for pickpocket to unzip your bag without raising any unwanted attention. Now, you can dine or take a catnap at the airport lounge without any worries.

Get Better Sleep
Neck pillow, eye mask and a pair of noise-canceling headphones are a great place to start, but do you know how to make your plane experience a more enjoyable one? Get a window seat. You’re less likely to be disturbed when you’re seated right next to the window, and the view you get is nonpareil. Do make sure to keep your seatbelt buckled and visible to the cabin crew. Another no-brainer way toget better sleep: Go light on alcohol and caffeine.

Don’t Forget to Moisturise
While packing, don’t forget to pack a few travel size lotions and potions with you. The air on the plane can dry out your skin, so be prepared to spray some face mist and apply lotion to keep yourself moisturized. Alternatively, you can even bring a face mask with you for a little in-flight pampering.

Bring Your Own Blanket
Flights can get chilly after sitting still for hours, especially when blankets aren’t provided or when they’re very thin.Bring your very own cashmere lightweight blanket to snuggle for a touch of First Class luxury.

Safe travels!
