Alchemy

The word change can mean a lot of things. The pennies in my pocket are change. When you put on a workout shirt in the middle of the day, that’s change. Kids change during their formative years into a terrifying creature known as the teenager.

There used to be a kind of people known as alchemists that tried to make change happen. Some would say that the defining factor of an alchemist is transmuting every day metals into gold, or finding a universal cure to illnesses.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary describes alchemy as a power or process of transforming something common into something special. A variation could be that everything changes. Alchemy is a short film that illustrates how everything in nature is in constant change. If the images don’t strike wanderlust in you, I’m not sure what will.
