Located five miles south of Los Angeles International Airport lies the coastal of Redondo Beach. Home to just over 67,000 people, this town has plenty to offer. With dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars, the Redondo Beach Pier and Riviera Village are some of the hottest spots in the city.
Redondo Beach recently started making waves as a popularfoodie destination, too. New restaurants have been popping up, showing patronswhat’s trending in the food world, and now there’s no shortage of desirable restaurants to please even the most discerning palate.
So, I decided to take on the challenge of finding the best eats. Here’s my foodietravel bucket list for Redondo Beach.
Food and Brew
HopSaint is the best bet in town when it comes to food and brews. Cooking up hearty fare andbrewing frosty beer, HopSaint will leave you buzzing with a full belly. One of my favorite dishes here is the deviled eggs with smoked pork, pickled shallots, and chives. Do yourself a favor and order this dish then wash it down with a flight of beer.

Farm to Table
R10 Social House is located right in the heart of the Redondo Beach Pier and King Harbor Marina. This neighborhood gastropub serves upfresh local fare, craft cocktails, beer, and wine. Get the P.E.I. Mussels in Thai curry broth served with crostini – you’ll never regret making that decision.

Chic Eats
Suburbia is the new kid on the block in Redondo Beach. With its modern Americana feel, this stylish restaurant offersmemorable eats like spicy spaghetti. Made with hanger steak and stir-fried with Thai basil, mushrooms, and spicy tomato sauce, this dish will set your mouth on fire, but in a good way.

From the Bayou
Go to Rajun Cajun if you fancy a restaurant that offers food that “sticks to your ribs.” The portions are huge, the drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is a constant reminder of the spirited Mardi Gras. How can anyone pass that up? Grab a seat at the bar and order the moonshine flight. You may, or may not, remember the rest of the evening after that.

Pacsafe Dining Tips
Whether you’re at home or abroad, keep your things safe by carrying a bag from thePacsafe Citysafe CX Collection. This stylish collection has several anti-theft features like slashguard straps, snap & lock, RFID pockets, and more. Hook your bag to the table at the restaurant so you can relax and enjoy your meal. The Citysafe Collection is my go-to when traveling or hanging out around town.
