Discover A New Recycled Backpack Vibe

The Vibe series at Pacsafe is one of our most popular collections. Geared towards those with on-the-go lifestyles, Vibe’s anti-theft bag designs are ideal for exploring the city, going out mountain biking, or hitting music festivals. People who love these pursuits also tend to care more about the environment, perhaps because they’re outdoors all the time. To help offer more sustainable choices, a new recycled backpack material has been added to the Vibe Collection. Coyote rPET fabric is not only amazing because it’s made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, but also self-heals scuffs and scrape marks when blasted with a hairdryer. The means recycled backpacks that take a beating, look newer longer and are even better for the planet we travel. 

“We want to help consumers understand that we’re facing a big issue with plastic waste and that we all can do something about it,” says head bag designer at Pacsafe, Marcus Johnsson. “We’re recycling bottles to show others that they can be part of this as well by swapping to reusable water bottles and changing the habit of using single-use plastic. Vibe is one of our most loved collections and we want the bags to be ready to face the future.”

The shift over to recycled backpack materials in Vibe starts with Coyote but will move into Black and a new Rosewood and Camo for future seasons as well. That’s more choices in the most popular styles. It’s all part of Pacsafe’s push to eliminate all virgin plastic from our supply chain by 2025.
