Those chilly months can get long and dreary, but there are plenty of quick getaways to quench your thirst for some hot sunshine and balmy beaches. Here are 6 warm beach trips to beat the cold weather blues.
Rincon, Puerto Rico
For beautiful beaches and year round warm temperatures, Rincon is perfect for a quick winter getaway if you are craving some sun and sand. Rent a surfboard or bring your own to experience the pristine surf conditions and sample the local Caribbean cuisine for at cheap prices.
Coming from a Florida girl–the keys are the place to be any time of the year! In December/January the temperatures will hang around a perfect 75/77 degrees while the water averages temperatures of 73/70. Avery Island, Louisiana

Located just east of Nassau, count on little to no crowds- it’s the spot you are looking for that “Corona commercial” scenario. Ditch the sweaters and scarves and grab your beach chair, bathing suit and beer.
Punta del Este, Uruguay
If you are looking to party it up while warming your tootsies, look no further than Punta del Este located on the Atlantic Coast of southeastern Uruguay. The hottest month is January, with an average temperature of 71 degrees. Tourists flock from all over the world to enjoy the city sights and booming beaches.
