I love my PacSafe sling bag.
First of all, I live in a dense urban environment and use public transport: bus and train. I can’t carry a backpack because I would have to remove it to sit down. With my sling bag, I shift it to the side and everything is with me close. So, even when I fall asleep I know no one will take it.
Secondly, this PacSafe bag is very good. I’ve had it 2 years of 2 hours per day daily use. It looks as good as the day I bought it (with 1 exception).
The pockets are well arranged so that I can look down and have front access to everything. BTW, I think I wear it backwards to your design – I wear it with strap over right shoulder and under left arm.
I have some suggestions for you to consider.
1. Zippers should be bi-directional. Presently they are uni-directional from bottom to top. Bi-directional will allow me to have top unzipped and nothing falls out of the bottom. Alternatively, add a gusset.
2. Pen sleeves should be placed less on front and more along major seams. I can explain more with a photo.
3. You should have an outrigger pouch to carry phones and sunglasses. The pouch that came with it was totally inadequate. So I made my own. I’m now on my 2nd one. This one is very good. My phones are my chest so close I can feel vibrate (I don’t put phones on ringer).
4. I added a carbineer to hang a water bottle from.
BTW, one of the wire’s end popped out of the strap. I had to glue it back in.
Anyways, like I said I love this bag. If you want, I can beta test new designs.

Great Bag. Well made. Great organization. Zippers move well. Feels good. Using for airline travel, in town outings. Minor design issue with padded strap moving separately from smaller strap when item is first placed on. After placing on shoulder sometimes one needs to pull padded strap forward as it moves toward the back but once adjusted works well. Need to have a way to adhere both straps together after initial adjustment for length to prevent this.
