Our award-winning RFIDsafe blocking material prevents your data from falling into the wrong hands by blocking out virtually all transmissions between 10 MHz - 3 GHz, which covers the radio frequency used in e-passports, credit cards / smart cards and key cards.

I have used this version of wallet for approx 5 yrs. Mine does not have a mesh area for passport but a plastic type. Mine also has the loop for the strap on the right.
To the person who complains about the need for more than 8 card slots, perhaps you should downsize the number of cards with which you travel.
I use my wallet daily and was looking for another because of the constant use of the one I have currently.
The only thing I am not certain of is whether there is a space between both card slots. I do use both areas of my current wallet and do not carry my passport in my wallet so cannot answer to that issue. To me keeping my passport in my wallet would not be smart. In my wallet the passport area and the change spot is not attached and is not of any consequence to the quality of the product.
A great product for anyone traveling or using it at home. Great durability in my opinion as the only wear I can see is potentially over the snap closure, and this is only
beginning after 5 years of constant use.

I purchased this to replace an every day bifold wallet. I purchased this one specifically for the number of card slots though eight is not quite sufficient for me. Though the box in which it was packaged is overkill to say the least [and possibly why UPS ground post was far too expensive to jive with me or my logic], it was well protected. The hard plastic[?] housing mechanism that encased the wallet demonstrated to me the care the company gives to its packaging. The material of the wallet including its strap boasts of high quality and durability and is always pleasing to the touch. The zippers follow suit, and I noticed when zipped they are inline with the rest of the material, unlike most products with zipper compartments which slightly protrude from the surrounding material.
Fill in the blank as it is, it also has its noticeable flaws. Firstly, there are only eight card slots. I have several cards, and if this thing had two additional slots [where?] this would not be an issue. The slots were made so two cards not be in the same slot, and that is what I try to avoid. Secondly, the passport holder [between the mesh and divider adjacent to it closest to the backside with elastic strap] is not a true pocket because the aforementioned dividers do not attach to the bottom of the wallet itself, but only to the sides. If there is a reason for this, I am not aware of it. To me, the passport holder should have a bottom – not simply comprise of two dividers mesh or otherwise attached at the sides. Finally, the side on which the wrist strap attaches is counter-productive for the right-handed user. If I am right-handed, I want to attach the loop to my right wrist, and use my right hand to hold the wallet whilst my left hand redoes the rest. The wallet in its current iteration is more ergonomic for the left-handed user. Reverse the above scenario and it should be apparent why.
In conclusion, this is undoubtedly the most versatile, accommodating, durable, high quality … wallet I ever had. The obvious RFID frequency blocking aside, one can not go wrong with this in their arsenal. I personally wish it had two additional card slots, and wish the wrist strap attached to the other side. These are both personal preferences thus there is absolutely nothing functionally inadequate about this particular travel wallet. I am satisfied with my purchase, but NOT the insanely overly expensive UPS ground post fee.
